We have a unique collection of aircraft and engines from the Golden Age of British aircraft manufacturing. From the end of WWII until the 1970s, British aircraft designers produced some of the most innovative and advanced aircraft of the day.

The Museum also traces and celebrates Gatwick Airport, including the history of the many commercial airlines that operated from here and its development into the second largest international airport in the UK

Scroll through the images below and click to find out more about the aircraft we have on display.

You can come on in to the cockpit of our Islander aircraft, put on a uniform and take the controls for some great photo opportunities!

You can also climb inside the nose section of our Canberra aircraft.

The Charity has ambitious growth plans, with several redevelopments of our site already underway. Our aim is to enrich the visitor experience, to provide the local community with a place where families can feel inspired together and make lasting memories.
