Covid -Safe Payments

To support staff having minimal contact, we encourage visitors to purchase tickets in advance, via our website as this will help manage the quantity of people omitted into the Museum, in order to minimise contact, and adhere to the social distancing rules.


You can buy tickets on site and we encourage payments to be made by card, although cash will be accepted. All Tickets are non-refundable

In the case of a change in government guidelines, tickets will be covered by the Museums Covid-19 ticket guarantee.

Gift Vouchers

Buying a gift voucher allows unlimited entry into the Gatwick Aviation Museum and grounds, and is ideal for the whole family to enjoy.


Choose either a 6 or 12 month all-access voucher and even set the date from when it starts! 

With Covid restrictions, any gift vouchers purchased in 2021 will be valid 18 months from when the national lockdown ends, and we will continue to be as flexible as possible, so that recipients can use their voucher as much as possible.

Gatwick Aviation Museum

Disabled & standard parking is available  and we have easy access points throughout the Museum for wheelchair users and pushchairs. Our grassland may not be suitable in poor weather.

Parking Fees

To support the Charity, we are now asking for a £2 unlimited parking donation, applied to visitors who wish to enter the Museum and to those, who want to just enjoy our green space on offer.  

Toilets are available on site, in addition to one wheelchair friendly unisex disabled toilet. These facilities are located near to the main entrance, and are easily accessible from all areas across the Museum.



Although we don't have a cafe on site, we do offer a range of refreshments including tea, and coffee, a range of cold drinks, snacks and ice-creams.

We have a wonderful range of aircraft and aviation artefacts on display, from the golden age of history that will help bring to life the many stories behind British aviation Heritage.

Interactive Activities

Children and the young at heart can get behind the controls inside our in flight simulator, real-size helicopter and so much more - with new attractions coming in 2021.

Engineering Projects

Some of our Volunteers are experienced engineers, who are often working on new projects. Visitors can watch, ask questions and talk to them about the current  work being carried out.


We have several experienced tour guides, who are regularly on hand to guide our visitors around the museum and inside some of our beloved aircraft that we have on display.

Gatwick Runway

If you thought we were close to the Gatwick Airport you're right, but did you know that you can watch the planes take off from the runway? If not, don't forget to include this in your next visit.

Working closely with local schools and colleges, we're here to help educate the minds of tomorrow and, offer a range of fun and engaging on site and

online activities.

Picnic Area

We welcome all visitors to bring their own packed lunch and enjoy the open green space of our 30-acre estate. Picnic benches are available on a first come first serve basis.

Nature Trail

Visitors are encouraged to take a stroll around our beautiful grounds. We often see deer free roaming in the fields, so keep a watchful eye out as you enjoy the natural surroundings.
