There's plenty to see here. We've a unique collection of iconic aircraft and engines from the golden age of British aircraft manufacturing. You can discover hundreds of model aircraft and instrument panels on display as well as a variety of fascinating aviation memorabilia.
Book a tour to come on board our Avro Shackleton and meet some of the former crew of this wonderful aircraft or climb inside the nose section of our Canberra. You can also take a walk around 30 acres of parkland (dogs are welcome on leads) and pay a visit to our viewing area where you can see the activity at Gatwick Airport - a must for any plane spotters.

And when you need a rest and refreshments, our Galley Coffee Shop is on hand offering a range of hot and cold drinks, tasty sandwiches and snacks plus delicious sweet treats!
We have a fantastic team of dedicated volunteers who are excited and ready to share their expert knowledge, experience and enthusiasm with you, so come along for a wonderful day out at the Gatwick Aviation Museum. Making memories that last.

EVENING TALKS
Our next talk will take place on THURSDAY 12 NOVEMBER from 6.30pm to 9pm.
'AN EVENING IN THE COMPANY OF IAN BLACK'
Joining us as Guest speaker, Ian Black -former RAF Fighter Pilot, joins us to share his incredible stories and experiences flying the English Electric Lightning.
An amazing opportunity to hear first hand about flying the Lightning - the interceptor that could stand on its tail and climb to 40,000ft in under 3 minutes.
Ian's presentation will be set in the hangar amongst our aircraft and alongside our very own English Electric Lightning so get ready for an atmospheric and memorable evening!
Ian saw operational service during the first Gulf War and in the Falklands Islands, after leaving the RAF in 1997 he joined Virgin Atlantic as a 787 Captain. The evening will culminate in a chance to ask him any questions.

TANK DRIVING DAYS
The Tank driving days return for Easter 2027.
We are delighted to be partnering once again with SWB Experience Days with driving and more available to book in advance. You can also go for a tank passenger ride too which you can book on the day.
