There's plenty to see here. We've a unique collection of iconic aircraft and engines from the golden age of British aircraft manufacturing. You can discover hundreds of model aircraft and instrument panels on display as well as a variety of fascinating aviation memorabilia.
Book a tour to come on board our Avro Shackleton and meet some of the former crew of this wonderful aircraft or climb inside the nose section of our Canberra. You can also take a walk around 30 acres of parkland (dogs are welcome on leads) and pay a visit to our viewing area where you can see the activity at Gatwick Airport - a must for any plane spotters.
And when you need a rest and refreshments, our Galley Coffee Shop is on hand offering a range of hot and cold drinks, tasty sandwiches and snacks plus delicious sweet treats!
We have a fantastic team of dedicated volunteers who are excited and ready to share their expert knowledge, experience and enthusiasm with you, so come along for a wonderful day out at the Gatwick Aviation Museum. Making memories that last.

TANK DRIVING DAYS
The Museum is delighted to be partnering with SWB Experience Days in 2026, with tank driving and more available to book - just one more weekend will take place this year on Friday 18th - Sunday 20th September.
You can also go for a tank passenger ride too. *Book on the day.
The tanks will return for 2027!

EVENING TALKS
We have a programme of upcoming evening talks at the Museum on a range of aviation themes.
Our next will take place on THURSDAY 24th SEPTEMBER from 7pm to 9pm.
'My journey from PPL to ATPL'
Our guest speaker, Nick Glover, shares a fascinating insight into his aviation career which has included flying executive jets for 20 years. His stories of interesting destinations and a variety of rich and famous passengers are not to be missed!
