Engineering Projects

Some of our Volunteers are experienced engineers who are often working on new projects. Visitors can watch, ask questions and talk to them about the current work being carried out.

Tours

We have several experienced tour guides who are regularly on hand to guide our visitors around the Museum and inside some of our beloved aircraft that we have on display.

Gatwick Runway

If you thought we were close to  Gatwick Airport, you are right. You can watch the planes take off from the runway, in our viewing area located at the edge of our 30-acre green estate.

Working closely with local schools and colleges, we are here to help educate the minds of tomorrow. To support this, we offer a range of fun and engaging on site and online activities.

We welcome all visitors to bring their own packed lunch and enjoy the open green space here on site. Picnic benches are available on a first come first served basis.

Nature Trail

Visitors are encouraged to take a stroll around our beautiful grounds. We often see deer  roaming free in the fields, so keep a watchful eye out as you enjoy the natural surroundings.
