Gatwick Aviation Museum
Home: Welcome

A Hidden Gem
in the heart of Surrey

There's plenty to see here. We've a unique collection of iconic aircraft and engines from the golden age of British aircraft manufacturing. You can discover hundreds of model aircraft and instrument panels on display as well as a variety of fascinating aviation memorabilia.

Come on board our Avro Shackleton and meet some of the former crew of this wonderful aircraft, climb inside our Islander cockpit, full size Robinson R22 helicopter or the nose section of our Canberra. You can also take a walk around 30 acres of parkland (dogs are welcome on leads) and pay a visit to our viewing area where you can see the activity at Gatwick Airport - a must for any plane spotters.

And when you need a rest and refreshments, Pop's Coffee Shop is on hand offering a range of hot and cold drinks, tasty sandwiches and snacks plus delicious sweet treats!

We have a fantastic team of dedicated volunteers who are excited and ready to share their expert knowledge, experience and enthusiasm with you, so come along for a wonderful day out at the Gatwick Aviation Museum. Making memories that last.
